time enough at last

for literally years i've driven by and walked by this shoe store on sunset blvd. when you're outside looking in, it's graphically really interesting with rows upon rows of shoes and shoe boxes. I always thought it would make a good photo. well perhaps i was wrong. this is the best of about 30 photos i took and it just doesn't look as cool as the real thing. maybe another camera and at another time of day (this was taken late at night -  around 11P). at least i finally took the picture.

the lonely

i'm no tree hugger. i certainly eat meat. i had an in+out burger  2 days ago and way too much chicken yesterday. but cafe m on melrose is one of my favorite restaurants in town. if you've never been there you should try it. if you think you wouldn't like vegetarian or more specifically macrobiotic foods you should try it. hey, if you hate it, pinks hot dogs is right around the corner - horse lips and cow toes can be tasty too.

i walked passed my neighbors door early this morning and saw these notices taped onto her door. the cliché 'we reap what we sow' may be applicable here, but what does one have to do as a parent for their child to do this? a message to all you potential and future parents out there...
