the remnants of my dinner preparation from last night... mushroom pasta with bolognese sauce and a salad from Trader Joe's on Santa Monica Blvd.... i really should wash the dishes before i go to bed... bad habit.

THE BEG(END)ING

dilemma

2008. done. gone. or just about to be. It's been an interesting year. A rather important one for historians of the future. Yet, for those of us around now, it's been a tough one. So i bid it adieu with a fondness and, at the same time, a sigh of relief. I look ahead to 9 wondering what it has in store for myself. for all of us... for certain, as is the fact of our times, there will be moments of dispair. moments of joy. and mostly, moments of the in-between.

 2009 -  what are you thinking?

This will be my attempt to record it from where i stand. i realized i have cell phone and it takes pictures. not so bad pictures either. i realized that i also take this aforementioned cell phone wherever i go (at least, usually). So i've decided to try out this little experiment and see if i can take a picture a day with an occasional bit of text to help you along. other than that: no parameters.
